We are looking for a Junior M&A and Corporate Finance Analyst to join our team and support Lithuanian and cross-border M&A and corporate finance projects. This role is well suited to an analytical and ambitious professional who is interested in transactions, financial analysis, company valuations, and investments and wants to gain hands-on experience working on complex business projects alongside experienced advisers.
Get ready to:
- Identify and research potential acquisition targets in Lithuania and international markets;
- Develop and maintain relationships with M&A brokers, corporate finance advisers, and other transaction intermediaries;
- Communicate clients’ acquisition criteria to the market and review potential opportunities received from brokers and advisers;
- Analyze teasers, information memoranda, financial information, and potential acquisition targets;
- Prepare target shortlists, opportunity comparisons, and recommendations for clients;
- Conduct market, competitor, pricing, cost, and other benchmark analyses;
- Analyze financial statements and prepare financial models, forecasts, and company valuations;
- Support corporate reorganizations and due diligence processes;
- Organize and supervise virtual data rooms and transaction documentation;
- Assist with presentations, reports, indicative offers, letters of intent, and other transaction-related documents.
What we’re looking for:
- A university degree, or final-year studies, in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Mathematics, or a related field;
- Good understanding of financial statements and key financial indicators;
- Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills;
- Very good Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills;
- Excellent written and spoken Lithuanian and English;
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage several tasks and priorities simultaneously;
- Confidence in communicating with clients, brokers, advisers, and other transaction parties;
- A proactive approach, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine interest in M&A, corporate finance, investments, and financial markets;
- Previous experience in M&A, corporate finance, audit, financial analysis, transaction advisory, consulting, or a related field would be considered an advantage.
