We are currently looking for an internal Financial Specialist to join our team, who would be responsible for the accounting and financial management of our group of companies, including a law firm. The position involves full accounting, tax reporting, and financial management for four companies (two active companies and two holding companies) and a professional association of lawyers. We are looking for a responsible, meticulous, and independent specialist who wants to work closely with business decisions and contribute to the quality of internal processes.
Get ready to:
- Accounting;
- Keeping primary and complete accounting records for a group of four companies and a law firm on a monthly basis in accordance with legal requirements and statutory deadlines in the B1 accounting system;
- Preparation of primary accounting documents and missing documents;
- Preparation of working time accounting tables;
- Calculation of wages, calculation of taxes on the individual activities of lawyers.
- Working with systems:
- Working with the Amberlo time accounting system;
- Working with the B1 accounting system;
- Archiving and managing documents in the OneDrive environment.
- Taxes and declarations:
- Filling out and submitting all declarations (including statistical ones);
- Calculating all company taxes;
- Calculating, monitoring, and organizing advance income tax payments.
- Financial accounting and control:
- Preparing specialized monthly reports for management;
- Preparing and monitoring monthly cash flow reports;
- Budgeting and control;
- Monitoring debtors, preparing reminders;
- Daily monitoring of bank accounts;
- Formation and control of payments.
- Reporting and cooperation:
- Preparation and presentation of annual financial reports to management;
- Participation in the development of new processes together with the team;
- Close cooperation with the Administration and Management teams;
- Assistance to colleagues during holidays or sick leave.
What we’re looking for:
- Higher education in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field;
- At least 5 years of accounting experience;
- Good knowledge of Lithuanian accounting and tax laws;
- Experience working with accounting systems (B1 – an advantage);
- Analytical thinking, responsibility, and thoroughness;
- Ability to plan work independently and take responsibility.
