We are currently looking for an experienced Family Office Accountant to join our team in Vilnius. This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working closely with sophisticated private clients, family offices, holding companies, and investment structures in an international environment.
Get ready to:
- Maintain accurate accounting records and oversee bookkeeping for holding and investment companies;
- Ensure accurate and compliant accounting records in accordance with Lithuanian accounting standards and IFRS;
- Prepare financial reports, tax declarations, and statutory submissions;
- Prepare the annual financial statements and annual tax returns;
- Calculate taxes and plan tax payments;
- Prepare budgets and supervise cash-flow, as well be responsible for payments;
- Manage accounting and financial reporting for high-net-worth individuals, holding companies, and investment vehicles;
- Knowledge of accounting processes and the ability to optimise them;
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for accounting-related matters;
- Collaborate with tax and legal teams;
- Collaborate with management on operational improvements and service quality initiatives.
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field;
- 5+ years of professional accounting experience;
- Solid knowledge of Lithuanian Business Accounting Standards (LBAS), Lithuanian tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements;
- Excellent Lithuanian and English language skills, both written and spoken;
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills;
- Knowledge of BSS and B1 accounting systems would be considered an advantage;
- Knowledge of IFRS standards would be considered an advantage.
